$ 5,495 for a 5sp, $ 5,595 Auto both 2001 models
Call 612/689-2760 ask to speak to Mike Larson the owner if you don't believe me. Artic-Cat prices are cheap here in Minnesota home of the company. They have to compete with Polaris here.

I paid $ 6199 for a 2001 AC 500 4X4 Auto with the first service included at no charge. They wanted $6999 for the Limited Edition Hunter's package with camo and winch. The dealer wouldn't budge on either. There aren't alot of AC dealers around Kansas City and I went to three and got the same treatment.

If you find someone who is willing to deal you can keep them honest by getting the invoice cost from http://cyclecost.com/. They charge $9.95 and have data on all makes of ATV.

Thanks for all the input. I was planning on buying a Polaris Magnum 500 when the 2001s come out. I saw an A.C. and it looked like a nice machine. Further research indicated it was worth consideration. I wish there were more dealers around. It looks like price is not going to help the A.C. any.

Was at the Cat dealer in Cold Spring, MN. Their prices were as follows: 01 500 auto camo pkg. with winch $6449. Or $5949 without. The 01 500 manual was $5549. Gresser's Arctic Cat 320-685-3656 or 1-800-856-1877.
