Default 04 650 mods!

Hey guys, i was wondering if you guys could give me some help. I purchased a 650 last april and have really enjoyed the machine, except for the stupid muffler screws which i quickly fixed, of course after i had been permanently marked an ac rider. But i was wondering if any of you had any advice on mods i should make to my machine. I really don't have any problems with my machine, but i keep reading all of these people who are doing changes to there stock units because of all the trouble they have been having. I have already changed the tires because i felt it was needed and don't know what else i should be looking at. I have always loved riding but i don't drive on anything other than trails so i never go faster than 20. I just don't want to be caught broken down in the bush with a dead machine because of some maufacturing defect in this model. Any advice you guys could give me on things i should check would be much appreciated!

Not many issues to fix.You mentioned the heat shield screws,I have this fixed, what about the RF filter?Do you have this? Are you on www.arcticchat.com,this is THE best place to ask A/C questions, that's all we deal with.
If you want a few mods that don't really fix anything, except boredom, check my sig,I have a couple.

No more limp mode is how it helps.

Dynatek CDI and EPI clutch springs. Just put heated grips on mine.. woke up at our riding club this morning and it was 0 degrees, thinking those grips are the best thing I've done yet!

Yah i got heated grips too, i live in canada so it was one of the first things i purchased! I really appreciate the help guys, i think im gonna add a little extras just to beef up my machine, ill definetly get that RF filter. Didn't know limp mode was a problem with these machines. My friends all ready get me to go first when we get to anything ugly. LOL, they won't even try it if i don't make it. And some won't even if i do.
