Default oil filter cross-references

have any of you guys found cross-references for your oil filters. So far ive only used the ac filters but there has to be another one that fits. Closest dealer is about 30 miles away. If any of you know of compatible filters for a 2003 AC 400 4x4 auto, 2004 650 auto, and 2004 500 auto i would really appreciate it.

P.S. 5000 post haha

Within the sub menu above, there should be a Search Advanced field. Enter "Oil Filter" and click on the search button. Lots of historical Oil Filter information will appear.

I have a 2002 AC 500i and a while ago, I did some research in this area as well. To my surprise, there are 6 different Oil Filters that are made for my engine. I was told that 2 brands are garbage, stay away from them, and 4 are good. One guy who works in the factory, told me that 2 filters are made down the exact same assembly line, except they have different labels on their outside. And their prices do vary from company to company. Long story short..... I was able to purchase a "good" Oil Filter for my AC at my local Honda dealer. Yes, a Honda dealer who also sells EOM parts for all brands of ATVs. Shop around because quality and brands do vary. If you can, buy bulk (for 3 years???) and also get a bulk order discount. Worked for me...

Hope this helps...

Heres a good site with lots of information on oil filters. And a chart of conversion numbers for some of the more common filters.

If you live near a NAPA Auto Parts, All 500 and 400 Cats take the 1359, and the 650 takes a1358. I have been using Napa filters since my 98 500 was new. It now has over 4,000 trouble free miles. I have 900 miles on my 650 and I have been using the 1358 since it was new.
