Default 650 or KQ?

How do the two compare for trail riding? Not really concerned with mudding. Does the AC's height take away somewhat from it some what in off camber situations...does it feel tippy? Sat on one in the dealership the other day and noticed that it is quite a bit higher than most other machines when your in the saddle. I asked the dealer a few questions about it but you get the answeres you expect a dealer to give you...like: they never have had a problem, ride better than any other machine out there yada yada yada....One thing I like about the 650 over the cat is the rack capacity and size of the front and rear racks. also, the large fuel tank is a plus. Was thinking about either a 650 or a KQ. but I dont have seat time in either machine. I'm interested in a good solid machine that will be used for mostly trail riding and one that at the end of a long day I can get off of and not feel beat up. Thanks everyone!

i don't know anything bout the king quad except that they are a good machine but i know the 650 and it may feel tippy but i have went in area's straight up and down an even though it feels weird sitting up high it is quite safe some say the steering is a lil harder then some of the other brands but i dunno if i agree with that i haven't had any problems and i am not a big guy i am only 160 pounds and i don't feel beat up ever when we get in the really rough stuff like with holes about a foot deep i am smiling with that true independent where others are getting hammerd and have to keep shifting weight to keep theirs straight and with the gas tank lower on the 650 it does give a lower center of gravity on a larger machine like i said i never heard anything bad about the king quad but never driven one but i love my 650

Frogman Dan over at HL has a KQ and he had a 650 Cat before that,go ask him.I think he misses his V-2,and the ground clearance.

i wen't with the ac cause of the ground clearance and suspension travel. i kinda wish i would have gotten the king now because of the small probs with the ac, like limp mode and the stalling when riding fast over whoops and such, and the handling sucks with stock tires people say it gets better with a set of good tires but i don't think i should have to change parts on such an expensive bike to make it worth the original purchase price.
