Default diming headlights on 650

My headlights dim on my 650 at idle, when I give it a little gas they brighten up. Just curious if anybody had experienced this or had any suggestions where to start. It is stock no extras or a winch even, yet?!? If this is normal let me know, thanks all.

In almost all cases this is telling your your battery is a little weak and at idle the charging system is not putting out enough amps to run the lights and charge the battery. This is the reason I usually turn the lights off if I stop and idle for any length of time. I have a 1990 Ford Escort that does this with a new battery and 78 amp alternator, so sometimes its the nature of the beast too.

I agree, you could even check this if you have a voltmeter.
Check your idle speed, if its too low, it can cause this too.
