Does anyone know the top speed of a stock DVX? What do I need to do to make mine accelerate quicker?

the top speed of the DVX is up around 68-70 i'd say and to make it go faster i'd say a new exhaust re-jet and K&N air filter should boost it up Hope this helps ya

70-72 stock

To get it quicker k&n air filter, pipe it, jet it, 13-41 gearing

Take the airbox lid off, install a bigger mainjet (I used a mikuni 150). This made a nice gain over stock. A pipe would help more.

If you want to accel quicker try 1 tooth smaller in the front. You might not loose that much top speed, because its hard to hit the rev limiter in 5th with stock gearing.

I jetted mine with a 150 main and a put a DG pipe & header....I pulls like a sunofa Bi@tch now!!!! All the way thru, it never lets up as long as you've got your thumb in it! Oh yeah...I put a Twin Air intake kit on it too!
