This may sound dumb to some of you but I have not heard of the H1. I looked on the AC web site. I did not see anything about an H1.

 

The H1 is Arctic Cat's own new 650 engine. It is a single instead of a twin. They are just becoming available, the dealers don't have them yet.

 

the "H" stands for hemi, single cylinder hemi. 641cc. new for 2005

anyone know the exact displacement of the yamaha grizzly, thats a single rated at 660, prob actually 653 or something, interesting to see them in a shootout.

 

I can't wait to see how Doug Meyer trashes this Arctic Cat...

 

frndinalowplace...grizzly is an actual 660cc. but it has 5 valves sohc,instead of 4valve and if not mistaken,it has two 33mm carbs just like its partner the raptor. wonder if the cat will have two?

 

i sure hope AC puts the dual 36mm Mikuni (or were they keihin, from the new prarie) on the H1, anyway, i heard the grizzly chassis is a poor foundation for such an awesome powerplant. its too narrow and doesnt suit for high speed trail riding.
