Does anyone know if and when Arctic Cat is going to have a fall incentive program. I haven't seen anything official to back it up, but a mechanic at the dealership said something about it. He said it would be somewhere around $79-100 extra for the choice of a camo cover/bag package or a winch. He also said a 2500lb. warn, but I don't believe this just yet. The salesman said the winch thing was going right now, but he hadn't got the winches in yet. Anyone know for sure?

At the Arctic cat website it's a 2500 warn for Y2K.

I know that you can buy a 2500 warn as an accessory. You can get a 2000 warn from arctic cat as well. Both are in the 2000 atv catalog. I'm talking about the incentive program. Where on the website did you see this. I couldn't find it anywhere.

Here is what I've seen so far. My uncle priced a 98 454 today and all of the AC's had a factory printed hang tag advertising the winch deal. it specifically said a warn winch kit or a camo package, but also said only for 2000 models. He talked the dealer into getting the winch for $100 along with the 98 454 though. The tag said 2000 models though if you want to be official. It was $100 for the winch, and I'm not sure if it was a 2000 or 2500 warn. I don't know if there is a price difference for the camo package or not.

My dealer offered me either the 2000lb Warn winch with mounting hardware or the camo package, which includes, the atv cover, for fenders and tank, the gun boot, rear storage bag, tank bag, and front lunch bag for $70. Another dealership in my area also is offering this deal. Rob Ervin bought a '99 model from the same dealership where I got mine and he got the deal, too. The packages are not in yet and you can't get them both, according to my dealer, but it is a special promotion that AC is doing this year. Whether or not all dealers will participate is another story.

Hey gang, I got a call from my AC dealer today that the fall incentive program had finally begun and I went to pick up my winch. It is a WARN 2000lb ATV winch with all mounting hardware included. I bought my quad back in July, but they told me they would hold my papers until this special started so I could get a winch. It took about 5 minutes to bolt the winch on the mounting plate and that onto the front of the Cat'. However, it comes with a cable "guide" instead of a roller fairlead, and the bolts included weren't long enough for the "guide". I think I will order a fairlead anyway, after seeing a buddy of mine destroy a winch cable using a similar cable guide.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know the Fall Incentive has started, and now all I have to do is wire it up!

Have fun wiring the thing Rob. I fooled around with mine for a good while, but I was real picky about how I ran and secured the wires to the frame. I'm gonna have to wire my uncle's winch when it comes in. Memory lane. That front plate really makes it look mean doesn't it! I put the WARN sticker in the middle of the plate right above the fairlead. It really sets it all off. Oh yeah, have fun trying to get those wires stuffed under the control switch!
