anyone else have the same problem with 04' 650 sometimes being hard to put into gear. Some times the bike just wont go into gear and makes a griding sound as if its inbetween gears and i have to rock the bike to get it to go in gear. Is this a shifter linkage problem.......................Thanks Guys

 

adjust your idle speed which is right on your carb. if you adjust it to a lower idle that should take care of that shifting problem.

I had that problem and just had to give it a little throttle, she would go right in. After a few hundred miles it was good again.
