Default SNORKEL AFTER VDI MODULE

Is it necessary to add the snorkel kit and jet upgrade after VDI Module is installed?
If I do it, what will it do to the performance?

No. There is no NEED to do the snorkel mod. But, the snorkel mod IS a very good mod. You won't notice the performance difference with the snorkel mod like you did with the VDI mod, but believe me, your engine does have more power all thru the power band, since it can breath easier. Your fuel milage should increase also.
With the choked off factory snorkel, the carb throats are bigger then the snorkel size. Your machine can't wind up. I was at an ATV pull with mine when I noticed it was doggy. I had a 600 Grizzly before, so I new this thing just wasn't reving like a V Twin should be. I did some research, and found out about the snorkel mod. Both me and the wife have 650's. I was able to get mine modded before our next pulling attempt. To be fair, I got some Goodyear MudRunners to put on hers, and ran mine with the stock rubber. I smoked her by over 20 feet. I won the event, beating the second place Prarrie by, I think 15'. This machine was now running like I felt it should. I still feel that this is THE BEST mod for your money, only about $25.00

I have done both to my ride and it rocks,if we meet up before you get yours tuned up you will see for yourself. It winds up very quick now,I wouldn't go back now if I had to.

Did you get the module yet?If not I wouldn't bother getting the premium one,I did and can't imagine ever wanting to shut it off,if someone else rides my bike they are going to know how first.

There isn't much to that kit,you can gather up everything you need in town but the shims, directions and allan-head screws to replace the phillips head junk all come to your door in a few days in the same bag.

Later dude,Kendog

Some are from this side of the Guysbrough Rd. and the rest are on the mud-run road down towards the Myra Rd.

Yeah I've been in those holes on the side of the Guysborough Rd. We went through again just after it started to freeze and everybody was stuck somewhere from breakin' thru the ice. We're heading out for a night run on Saturday back thru from Burnt Lake up to the Myra if you can make it..Call me..

We were in there after it froze up and it is a mess, they were in there with machines and leveled it,we had to go around.I don't know what it will look like after break up.After they get done cleaning up from the hurricane we will have to drive through choppings all the time, hard on CV boots.
