gas off?

Default gas off?

ok i gotta question for u guys and i dont wanna sound dumb but my cuzin has a 2004 dvx 400 and he tried to put his skid on today but we souldnt figure out where and how to turn the gas off
it sed fuel, pri, and on thats it

That must be something that AC picked up from Suzuki. Because my brothers Suzuki Eiger has the same or similar shut-off. (Prime, On, Reserve only)

Must have something to do with it being a sport quad or its an 05 addition, because I know the 03 and 04 utility quads have an off position on the shut-off valve.

Try putting the valve in-between two of the positions to see if it shuts off the flow.

No off position. Works on vacuum when it's running. I just leave mine in the on position. I've never had a problem[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] so far[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

ya but wen we left it on and flipped it up gas started coming out

This might be a dumb question, but once the fuel started coming out, did you try turning the 'switch' to every setting to see if one of them stopped the flow? Just seems there's got to some way to shut it off.

I have to pose the same question, as MrTommy on this one[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]I would think, if they work on a vacuum system, then something might be wrong in the system[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]
