I have recently got the fix for the dreaded limp mode. I have riden the bike maybe 8 times since i had it done. Just the other night i noticed that when i turn of the bike via the key i do no longer hear the noise that usually came from the belt houseing. ( i hope that makes sense). Did the limp mode fix eliminate this. Thanks again guys

its like an electrical whine coming from the trans cover, and then its like a servo activated, the whole process takes about 3-5 seconds, it happens after you shut off the machine. I hear it from mine all the time, ive only needed to use the jumper once b/c of limp mode, and this weekend rode rough trails about 34 miles in 3 hours, all pretty much in low gear and didnt have any problems with the belt.
