Default Tire advice

Hey all, I have a 2002 375 2x4 automatic with stock tires and I'm getting ready to replace the ones on back. The stock tires are 25x10x12 and I was looking at the gators in a size 26x12x12. You think that would work? The 25" gator's only have 3/4" lugs while the 26" gator's have 1.5" lugs. That's why I'm asking about going to a 26". I'd also like them to be a little wider. Any advice or opinions are welcome. Thanks.

26's should be fine. I would stay with the 10" wide.

Well instead of gators check out the new 25" ITP Mudlite XLs- they have over an inch of tread like the 26/27" XLs but in the 25" tire- I stuck them on my 300 and they work great. My buddy has 25" gators on his 500 and the 25s seem to work great in the mud too even though they have less tread than the 26s. The nice thing about the mudlite is that they weigh less then the gators but the downside is that I believe that they are softer...
