does anyone know where the oil filter is on the AC 2001 250 2x4?

oil filter

On my 98 300 which suzuki motor also was down by the rear brake pedal. Should be a small plate with 3 bolts. Plate was about 2 inch diameter. filter is inside it it is a cartridge type.
