Default pixels,resolution, WHAT???

I have asked the question before but, how do you guys get your pictures so big on your pages. I try to put them on and it makes me keep cutting them down. Can anyone help? Thanx.

Well, I looked at your picture page and when I [click] on your shot to make it bigger, then look at the properties, your picture is 277 x 179. I checked out my pictures and when enlarged, most are around 749 x 526 (give or take a few pixels).

I run my pictures through a program from Serif called Photo Plus (a Photoshop act-alike) to resize and optimize to conform to the requirements of the photo upload regs, and VIOLA - big pictures.

Don't know if this helps, but it's how I do it. Just try to make your pictures adhere as close as possible to the posted requirements BEFORE you upload them. That way YOU'RE in charge of their size.

Try this...........

1 right click on you picture and select open with Paint or Microsoft Paint
2 under the images tab if you click attributes it will tell you how big your picture is now (needs to be
750x750 or under, try and get it as close as possible so the pic is good size)
3 under the images tab click on stretch and skew
4 change the horizontal & vertical to 60% and click ok (60% is good to start off with, you may have to
try different combinations. I always click Edit undo if its not then try again with a different number)
5 under the images tab if you click attributes it will tell you how big your picture is now
6 save your picture as a .jpg file (.jpg will have a small file size) into an easly accessed folder
7 try uploading again to your page.
you may have to make them smaller than 750 to get the size below 150kb

once you have your page done click the post bio button
