Default new cdi.......sucks

Well the weekend is over and no complaints about the dyna cdi.it worked great, noticed a bit more low to mid-range grunt and alot better throttle response.as for getting stuck-yup did er! took two machines to get it out but it still kept on tickin.the unit seem to make the bike a little better on fuel to(i think).pleased with it so far.glad to get rid of reverse limmiter also.

you look at the dyno readings for the cdi and it isn't intended to gain you anything on top end it is all on bottom and low end. i figured in my situation who needs to go any faster then what it can anyways people usually drive slower down trails anyways and that is when it is fun to pull up alongside someone crack it down and walk away from them. glad it worked good for you out of all the power mods i have done on things in my life this was the easiest to install by far. plug in and play fun.

I picked up my Dyna CDI today and threw it in the machine. Total installation time of what..maybe four minutes?

Damn. Money well spent.

My 650 pulled wheelies with ease in low range before, but now it could easily launch someone off with ease from a dead stop. I haven't had much time to play with it as it is supper time, but I can't wait.

On the package it shows that the stock timing is retarded as you reach redline as well, if that's true there should be some extra snort up top too, along with the 5 degree advance throughout.

(I'm not a mechanic, I'm just going by what the documentation said in the Dyna CDI)

Hmm..what next.
