Do the 2000 cats have 4.8 gallon fuel tank like the newer models if they don't you would get less miles to a tank..

would i need a lift if i put on 26" tires??

Bigger tire's will also make it harder on gas!!!

LOL, sorry about my reverse comment [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] I guess I better pay attention before I post!!!!

Butter, I think we can get a good 60+ miles out of that thing. Hard to tell as my dad uses it for farm work and just tops off the tank every week. He has never used the reserve. I would check your plug, then maybe run some carb cleaner through it.

While you are looking at the carb check your valves. If you have not adjusted them with 3500mi of use they need to be checked. If your valves are worn or out of adjustment it can effect your gas mileage.
