Did anyone see the tony stewart edition dvx,that is pretty cool looking,i personally wouldn't have an atv like that,but does look real good.

 

Yort- where did you get that info on the H1? That is really my only gripe with my H is the soft clutch action. It would be much better if it had a bit of snap to the clutching. Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

 

I talked to the head of engineering for the new engine division he told me about it, I have ridden a H1 with this clutch and it is a huge difference. It will be on all the 06 H1's.

Wow - there sure are some nice looking bikes this year. The 400 looks great with the new body and the LE's look pretty fancy with the new rims & matching colour bumpers. One thing I did notice is that they went back to analog speedometer's - have they been having problems with the digitals?

That was a good pickup, I did not even notice that, now I must know why, I liked the digital display they had.

 

They went back to analog because it was "consumer perferred" but as you notice the speedo goes to something like 110- thats because it suposedly can do double duty as a tach. Its not a cable operated speedo- all electronic. As for the 250s and the 90/50, they are made by Kymco- take a look at their site and you will see a very similar machine for sale by them...

 

Which model of the Kymco 250 is AC gonna sell? The Mongoose/KXR250 or the MXU250, I assume (bad thing to do) that the on road version is not and option or is it? Also it appears the true utility 250 is gone. My wife says she won't give up her 2001 AC250 as the she finds my 400 just to big.

 

The gauge is a analog digital toggle between analog and digital with the speed and rpm, gear and all the other indicators are digital, it is similar to the fire cat gauge, this is an Arctic Cat gauge rather than using a Suzuki or Kawi gauge.

The 250 utility and dvx is Kymco but Arcitc made a bunch of changes they went through it and upgraded some of the gears internally and changed the engine timing carburation and shocks and springs. For a smooth ride good handling and good cold weather starting as well as some plastic changes, and they come with the same warrenty as the other bikes.

 

Thanks for the info Yort. As I posted earlier, the soft clutching is the only thing that is slightly dissapointing to me on my H. Can you get any more info as to what was done, was it the actual clutching or was it a different spring combo that I can swap out in time. You said that you rode a 05 H and a 06 H, or just a 05 with the different clutching?

Any additional info would be appreciated so I could get this fixed up if possible. Thanks!
