Does an 05 500 Auto LE have a rev limiter?

They all have rev limiters in the CDI box. Thats one of the reasonf of and after market box, to bypass the limiter.

I saw a box for the 500, but I would have to play big search to find it again.

Howdy,

I posted a message before asking for interest in a Dynatek CDI for the 500 and 1wook was nice enough to post this repsonse for me:

Their's already a CDI for the 500's out there all ready, made by ProCom (sp). A CDI isn't going to produce big gains on the 500 since it's not detuned at the lower RPM like the 650. It'll optimise the timing slightly and raises the RPM limiter.

Hope it helps...
