I have question has anyone put a hotter cam into there 500 yet. Or done any porting and polishing? or what about a a little big bore kit or stroking it out. I figured it would be cheaper to do some engine work then trade up for a new machine. Does anyone have any other sugestions for more power. thanks matty

 

I talked to someone who ported and polished his 454 and he said it REALY woke it up BIG TIME. he also put a liquid gasket on the jug/head to give it more compression, changed the sparkplug toa CRE8, and went to 93 octane gas.
