5 2006 DVX 400 questions
#1
hi i am looking to purchase a DVX400
What is the top Speeds in each gear or just top speed?
How many RPMs does it have?
Does it have good power to just punch the gas and bring the front wheels off the ground?
Will it beat a 2003 yamaha kodiak 450 in a drag?
Is there many choices of aftermarket parts for it?

Top speed i think is around 70
IM not sure bout the RPM's
It should have enough power to get it off the ground
It should beat the Kodiak if driver skill is the same etc...
The DVX400 is pretty much the same thing as the z400/kfx400 so if ur looking to mod it u should maybe think about getting a z/kfx cause i know there are tons of parts for the z/kfx
hope that helped

All three are the same machine with different plastic. What will work on one will work on all of them.

anything MECHANICAL will bolt right up (so performance parts and such) but anything cosmetic watch out for. In the Dirt Wheels project DVX the IMS heels guards were short of the fenders but they put on the foot pegs with no problems. So if its a performance upgrade don't worry but for cosmetics be careful.
also top speed around 70
RPM are well i can't tell you i'd say around 8000
If traction is decent it will claw for the sky and if it's perfect and you work the clutch you will be on your back
i don't know about the kodiak (prob win)
and MANY MANY MANY aftermarket parts
