i have a 12 volt 25 gal sprayer for my AC '05 500 4x4.
i used to use it on my polaris and used aligater clips to hook to the battery.

how do i hook it to the ac 500??
i can't realy hook up the aligater clips.you can't even see the battery under the seat!!
i read the owners manual for the sprayer and it said most ATV's have a power plug to plug accessories into.

i realize it has a 12v plug in on the stearing wheel hood but that will be in the way.
is there a different type of plug they are talking about???

 

Either use the accessory plug already there or get another accessory socket and plug for it and and mount the socket where it is close to the sprayer. Wire the new socket straight to the battery with it's own fuse would be the easiest route to take.

 

took it to the AC dealer today for my windshield and asked him about the sprayer hook up.

in the rear of the ac 500 next to the gas tank there are some wires tied up with 2 prongs for hook up with a sprayer or what ever.
