Arctic Cat Prowler 650
#1
I just bought a new Arctic Cat Prowler 650... I have never seen one (pictures only) but i'm sure I will like it. I also figured they are so hot right now that if I don't like it I will be able to sell it quick. I figured it would be better than a glorified (rhino) golf (rhino) cart (rhino) "Did I say that out loud?" LOL
I bought it from Tousley Motorsports in Minnesota, and is being shipped to me.

congrats on the new purchase i know you will like it i have heard nothing but good from the prowler. but for side by side my second choice would be the rhino i drove it cause i was thinking of buying one and then going back to cat when they get their side by side. the rhino was a fun lil sexy machine and depending on what you demand in a side by side it might be the right choice for alot of people. but on a personal note GOOOO ARCTIC CAT.

I read two things about the Prowler and CA -
1) They dont pass california emissions and get "red tagged" (whatever that means - not good I would venture)
2) There is no where to ride them as they are not a ATV and not allowed on public trails.
3) #1 and #2 are why they don't sell in CA.
Now this is stuff I'ver read and I'm not a expert on CA law. You may have first hand information that disputes this and I would welcome any update or correction - but I hope you did your homework before ordering one.
Good luck with it!

i read about the red tag thing in california as well and it was something along the line of the 650 H1 is a new motor that has just been released when was it may? and i guess california standards says that a new motor has to be in production for at least a year for emission tests and whatnot before they will allow them to be sold in that state.
