All good points here gentlemen. I'm still at a toss up between an AC 400 4X4 manual and a Rancher 350 4X4 manual.

Bama - I looked at all brands and on each board, someone was having some small issue (i.e. gas leak) with their new bike. Just like buying a new car, sometimes you'll get one that was put together 100% correct. The warrenty will fix anything though. Honda is reliable, but also much more expensive than a Cat when you compare features like full automatic, ground clearance, etc.
