what does everyone think of the H1???

Looks like an awesome machine with the speedracks and the LE edition black.
The Dealerships say their torque monsters but don't have the top end of the V2.
Anyone with any input let me know. THinking about possible purchase of one in spring.

I know the H1 has a more desirable (by opinion) tranny, and a lower low range gear. But the V2 has a little more power, and low range is perfect for all different trails. I have the 06 V2, and love it. But If I had bought the H1, I would love it to! They are equally great machines. I dont think you can go wrong either way

I was looking into and test rode the H1. It's a nice ride. But the salesman knew I like power, so he rolls out the V2. Love the v-twin snarl and the quickness.
I really liked the H1, but I loved the twin even more.
Now if I was going to do 29" and mud it up, then I'd want the H1 trans.

Because of the setup, the H1 will be a better puller, but the V2 has more top speed. The difference is increadible. Be sure to drive them both before you buy. Good luck!

Hey Fred!!! I got mine used for 6100 including tax but not the winch. New they are about $1000 more. I guess the ups are that it is a lot of fun and can go through just about anything! The ride is great, really smooth even with the crappy stock tires. I plan to get some 27 inchers sometime this year. The bad is that if you do a lot of fast trail riding there are better ATV's out there for that. And I guess just the stock tires. I love everything else about it. The 700EFI would be nice also, but will be a lot more money too! fred, you can feel free to come to my house and take the H1 for a test ride anytime! hey ductape if you like the vtwin motor throw a dynatek cdi in it. this goes for you to v2rider, it is so unreal how it wakes the motor up. last summer my dynatek cdi happened to burn out and i threw the stock on in until my replacement showed up i didn't even care if i rode it anymore it felt like such a pooch. oh and when it burnt out they were great it took about 4 days to get my new one from california. very friendly people to. they are about 250 dollars and just unplug the three plugins under the seat and plug in the new one takes all of a minute to install.

I bought an 06 H1. The machine is awesome to ride even with the crap stock tires. Should ride even better when I get a chance to put my new ITP Mud Lite XTR. THought about the V2 but I needed something with a little more low end power and the color I thought sucked
