Default Aftermarket 500 pistons

Hey guys, I have an 01 500 manual and am looking for piston options, I want a little more compression. Im not against boring the cylinder either for some more cc's, anyone have theirs done? Also has anyone done any head porting and polishing on theirs, is it worth the time to do it? Do you have any tips? Im just looking for some more power since the larger tires killed quite a bit of what I had. I have jetted it and have a k&n filter but thats pretty much it. Any help is apprieciated, Thanks!

Four stroke tech makes two kits a 580 and a 606 kit for the 500's... As far as something like Weisco.. There is nothing.

I did mark, I was sorta of in a rush since I had the piston on the workbench already lol, so I posted it over there too just to get a little more exposure (sp?). I called four stroke tech today but no answer, I'll try tomorrow, I'm cryin for more power! Thanks again!

Rob,

belive it or not.. With all my mods and the adding of only a web cam to my motor made a world of difference..... The pipe clutch kit...K&N dyno jet kit snorkled i'm sure i'm forgetting something... But wow really woke the cat up... The cam alone was worth it.. Since you have the motor on the bench now.. I'd spend the 125.00 and get the web cam. I ordered all ne valve springs and seats as they were cheep enough..(not nessaseary) If you have any questions and want to call me.. Feel free to (cell_908-339-2111)
