2006 650 H1 or V2
I'm new to ATV's, been around AC sleds almost all my life. I got to drive a 2000 500 Auto not too long ago when I was tuning it up to sell it at an implement where I work. It sold today for $3000 btw. Anyways, I had been looking at the Yamaha Blaster's, because it being the last year that Yamaha makes the 2-strokes, and I love 2-strokes. But since they're just 2wd, I declined.
Now my main interest is in a H1. I talked to the salesmen and store manger, and they can get me a 600 V2 for sure, but would have to search for an H1, plus it would cost more. Do they really cost more than the V2? Is it worth the cost or wait, instead of the V2? How do the H1's run?
Just looking for some reviews on the 600 H1's and V2's.
Thanks!

v-2 is a smoother motor on higher rpm's then the H1. the v-2 has more horses on mid range and top end then the H1. the H1 has better bottom end and a better belt drive system then the v-2. do you plan on pulling alot of stuff with it then get the H1 do you plan on playing on the trails more? then get the v-2 but in any of those circumstances either one will work extremely well. my personal pick would be the H1 i believe it is deffinately worth the extra money.

Thanks for replying!
Not sure what it would be used for. Probably mostly back and forth down the gravel road and in the fields. Maybe crusing in the gravel pits. And getting into areas where a larger vehicle can't. I would like to take advantage of the speedrack system. Also if it plows snow, that's a plus. I'm not after speed or quick manueverability.

The H1 is a great machine. It sounds perfect for what you want. It has the lower range for a good pull. I got the V2 for its power. I would love to have The h1's low range. But I can pull pretty much everything i want to, just not as much as the H1 without spinning my belt a little!

Thanks guys!
I'll see if the manager ever gets the other store called to see if they can get their hands on one. Supposedly there's three in the area, according to the AC sales rep, but who knows if they want to give theirs up. If I can't get an H1, i'll probably wait for now and see what they come out with for next years models. Does anyone know what they will be, and when they will be out?

How good are any of these Cats in muddy fields, or in or in flooded grasslands? That's probably the roughest terrain that I would go in. Also snow....... I'm now either debating on one of these or getting an older 4x4 pickup and modifying the suspension and tires, as my dually doesn't cut it in anything muddy, and snow is tough as well. :-)
