AC is hyping the new 700-paint job; quote “More than just a color the paint process is extremely durable”. Most informed customers know that the sunset orange can’t even make it off the showroom floor. Case in point. Check out the cover page. The 700 right rear and right front under the head light. AC is using a defected 700 paint job on their cover page. On page 7 it appears they did a touch up on the right fender. Pitiful unable to even come up with an acceptable 700 in their PR magazine. How disrespectful can a company be toward their customers? This is an example of why the US is losing market share. Bet they will not print a copy of this letter in the Riders Write section.

the paint not sticking to the plastic?

 

painting plastic is a lot tougher than most people think. Proper prep and the right kind of paint. Missing any part of it done right and you have paint comming off the plastic. It appears AC choose the wrong people to do their painting for them.
