Default New to Arctic Car

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum thought I'd say hi. I've been riding a Polaris 400 for 12 years and just bought a new 2006 Arctic Cat 400 auto. Very nice . I rode it for the first time this past weekend. quite a change from the ol Polaris. I do have a ques, It came with 27 inch Mud Lites, should I put a clutch kit such as EPI or Highlifter to make up for the tire size and also is it much of a job to replace. Thanks in advance.

I would put the clutch kit in, just so you're still getting a lot of the power taken with the bigger tires. Congrats on the new ride, if that ole Polaris lasted you 12 years, this one will probably be ridden by your grandkids

Congrats!!!! The 400 will get more power once you get around the 300 mile mark. It is amazing how the 400 needs to be broken in. The clutch kit would help some too, but if you are not expecting a speed machine it will be just fine in stock form. Good luck!

27" tires on a 400 is a big jump. It might feel underpowered, but it depends on your preference

Thanks for the replies everyone. I called EPI and Highlifter and neither one is making a kit for the 06 yet. EPI is the only one who said that they were working on 14 new kits at the moment.
v2rider. yes the 27 are a bit tall got the wheel kit for 280 dollars, I just couldn't pass it up. I still have the stock tires I'll use thes if I have to.
