Default 650 H1 2007 need more horse power

welcome to the sight arcticcatmatthewhone. the statement made that if these engines were meant to have more horsepower and keep their reliability they would do it from the factory is completely untrue. my 650 was detuned from the factory by retarding the timing so first time buyers couldn't go out and buy a bigger atv and go get hurt on it. right when i first got mine the tires well suck as any cat owner can tell ya so i put on my 589's in the 27 inch. well anyone who has them can tell you that they suck a little power out of the machine so i put in a different cdi and clutch springs. this machine has turned out to be great for me even though i think i would like a lil more power sometimes but when i crack it down from a dead stop sitting on it and it has the capabilities of riding wheelies forever i feel that right now i guess i don't require more power, but for those who do go for it. just remember one important thing when doing hopups don't hop up a machine to having more power then what your capable of handling. i guess always remember that you can get hurt very easily and quickly.

hey bear before you run your mouth you should have something with power to begin with. pretty sure his H1 will take your 400 at anything, so know your role and shut your mouth.

Its his quad he can do anything he wants to it Bear. Its pr**ks like you that don't have F-all themselves and knock others to feel better about what you got. Mind you a 250 4X4 must be the premier machine around here (and you must like that thing enough to post 3500 times about it! - got too much time on your hands, should probably spend more time ridin or modifyin). I have a 660 Rappy, 660 Rhino, two 400 outlanders and an 800 Outlander. The only things stock is the 400s. I certainly spend more time helping others and RIDING than knockin a new member. So go take your 250 and 400 and shove them up your...

We'll be helping eachother here while you do that.

Gee, I have 2 and had at least one for years. But I'm smart enough to buy one with the power I want rather than buy one new underpowered (you probably think it's under powered but you haven't got a clue) and void the warranty because I have to hotrod it. Forest Gump said it best about guys like you. "Stupid is as stupid does."
If you're so smart, you would realize that there are many reasons to pick an ATV. Power is only one reason, try size, ground clearance, ergonomics, ride, and many more. How you rate them, is up to you. Buying an ATV and adding more power makes perfect sense if that makes one's ATV more perfect. I am surprised that a self proclaimed genius as yourself can't see that. I do think your quote applies to you perfectly.
And if you were so smart you would know that all the AC models are pretty much the same physical size. Also that more power (read horsepower to these jokers means only increased top speed which for a ute is worthless. You wanna go fast get a sportie. So it appears I am smarter than you, which isn't a real challenge. I never proclaimed a damn thing, other than it makes no sense financially to buy new and not get enough power, because once you start modding, the warranty is gone along with realiabilty. Those 2 are facts of life and to ignore them shows either lack of common sense and/or lack of the ability to do it right the first time.

Same should apply to you, your mouth is running when no one was talking to you. Unless of course my statements apply to you. I have forgotten more about hi-performance and driving fast than you will ever know. My role is to counter morons like you that think power is everything. Skill and using your equipment to it's maximum show more smarts and ability to learn than the school of "I can't get the job done with what I have so more power will make me better". It doesn't, it won't and can't.

You are not smart enough to do anything but call names of those with more smarts and experience than you. But then the unqualified and those lacking the ability to do it the right way are always name calling those that can and have done it right. I have earned my right to have time on my hands, little boy. And I've earned the right by being a national champion and record holder while racing to state my opinion. So until you earn the right to say something with the qualifications I have you need to shut your cake hole and listen, you might learn something that way; but I doubt it. Your type alway talk a good tale, but never back it up with the actions to prove how good you reallyare.

Bear, I honestly think you should be banned.

Your quality post consists of you telling someone else how much experience you have racing. However, when someone inquires how to do any type of power mod, you jump up and beat them down. People like you stunt the growth of sites like this. I hope you feel good about being such a pr|ck to others.

I TOTALLY AGREE!!! If you bash....you must be trash. Most people come here to gain information and trade stories. But then there are a few who do nothing but bash other peoples choice of quads just to try to convince themself theirs is the best every built.
