will a 00-01 arctic cat 300 have a locking differentcial

 

Hi,there,it doesnt come with a locker.you have to modify the lever ? but its capable bud, tc gl[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

yeah, like flyfisher said- you have to modify it. The 00s had a cable shifter which just had to be adjusted to get the 3rd locked position and the 01s had a rod shifter which about a 1" extension has to be put on it if you want 2/4/4 locked otherwise you can just adjust the lever at the diff. and have 4/ 4 locked

 

ok can someone please give me a step by step for both of these?

 

It has been discussed many times on here- just do a search and you will find how to modify both styles of shifter. Its pretty easy to do....
