I have been a Polaris fan all my life and my father just bought a 02 Arctic Cat 500.. The suspension is very, very bouncy. They are not macpherson struts or anything, they dont have brand name. How can he make them harder??

 

You can replace shocks with new style that are adjustable or shim to change your spring rate.

 

the 2002 style has adjustable shocks. need the wrench used for them,or big channel locks. if its not the 500 'I' model it may not them though. the 500I does for sure.
