Motor is running strong again, I was doing some thinking and remembered that kerosene does an excellent job of getting water out. So I headed down to the local store and knew right where to find it. Then I got home and I filled the crankcase with it and splashed it around a bunch - but didn't start it. Then drained it and continue to flush with oil now. I am also going to have to take my radiator off and clean that sucker, it is so caked in mud it looks like cement

What is the safe limit of water you can run in an H1 engine?
I did it in about a 40 acre lake
So that is over the limit right?

Yes, that is correct 1of4 and RC, use kerosene if you ever have this happen to your ATV's. I actually learned the trick by doing my own experiments over the years, you know just putting different chemicals into beakers and seeing what happens. It is actually a hobby of mine
