Default Arctic cat has lost my new machine HELP

Ok folks I need some help. About 2 months ago I purchased a used 05 v2 650 from a Honda dealer and love it. My wife was so impressed that we ordered her a 06 lime green TRV 500. So then we sold our 05 polaris. The TRV was ordered from Elk mountain motor sports in Helena Montana on July 29th with a guarantee they would have it in and ready for possession by August 11th. From what I was told by the OWNER Bob, of Elk mountain motor sports, that sometimes Arctic cat corp watches a dealer and when a dealer is having a tough time selling a certain rig that arctic cat requests the dealer to send it back to the factory and then they put it back into inventory. Then when a dealer like Elk mountain motor sports views the inventory that certain machine can be purchased at a better price because arctic cat wants to unload it.
Well now lies my problem. Elk mountain motor sports were paid in full for the machine and apparently no one really knows where it is. At first we were told by Elk mountain motor sports that arctic cat goofed up and shipped it late plus put it on the wrong truck. Now we are being told that no one is sure where the machine is for certain. In the mean time they have my money and my machine. I have requested my money to be returned and elk mountain motor sports has said that arctic cat will not refund it. I feel that I am getting the run around as I have called a couple of other dealers and they have never heard of arctic cat requesting machines to be sent back. As I guess orders have to be sent in 8-10 months prior. And the couple of dealers said they would love to have a policy that if they have a hard time selling something they can return it. I have also been told that arctic cat has elk mountain motor sports on a pay as they order basis. Which makes sense, as I had to pay for the machine in full when ordered.
Now problem 2. I called another dealer and asked if there was a 800 customer service number and was given it. I called and left a voice mail but STILL have heard nothing. Even made sure to leave my cell number 3 times to make sure they could write it down. My wife (who is VERY mad as she thinks they are messing with her and interfering with her riding time) called a arctic cat number she found and the lady who answered was VERY rude and short with her. Explaining the arctic cat does not deal with customers that she MUST deal with the dealer we purchased the machine from. WOW what customer service.

So is owning a arctic cat really worth all this frustration? Not to mention having the other half mad all night. Just glad I dont work with her to. I am not looking for the world just some simple customer service and honesty.

So does anyone have any numbers I can call or know the district reps direct number for Montana?

Open to thought and suggestions

Thanks for all your help

Default Arctic cat has lost my new machine HELP

That is one of the worst things ive heard. Im serious, thats rediculous. I love my Cat, and wouldnt trade it for anything, (except another cat) but that draws the line. I would literly DEMAND your money or threaten court to them. They will give it back, to avoid AC going to court for it, or they will provide a machine. If you get your money back go to another dealer, and get an AC, because yes, they are worth it! Sorry to hear of the mishap

I don't think that Arctic Cat the company is jerking you around, I think it is totally your dealer's fault. Don't blame the machine, you just have possibly the worst dealer EVER.

Demand your money back immediately. You gave it to the dealer, your dealer should give it back to you. If they will not write you a check, call a lawyer. One phone call from him should make things happen VERY quickly.

i would go in there and demand a brand new prowler to use until your machine does arrive if not then i would ask fo rmy money as stated if they don't do that go with legal action. if they are gonna make you wait this long i would demand getting about 60 percent off all accessories. worst dealer ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what i would do is get your lawer to walk in with you and have him talk and ask the questions.

and/or i would call the main arctic cat place and ask for the manager and give him info and truth.
places like this need to go under.
i just can's believe it when you say Ac will not give you your $$$$ back

This is clearly a dealer issue, not a factory issue. The dealer has your money, not the factory.

BTW: Who exactly did you talk to at the factory? Do you have a name? What department?

You got problems! You need to contact an attorney, the Montana State Attorney General and Tony Soprano. Stop playing the dealers game he is buying time. If the dealer files bankruptcy you will have a hard time getting your money back.

Why in the world would you pay for something and not take possession? Did you just fall off the cabbage truck or are still in high school? Next time try a small good faith deposit. Also go out for bids check the market place you would have discovered many units in stock within a 100 miles of Missoula.

Sorry to be so hard on you but you need to get it together. (Just ask your wife)

I am buying my first ATV and it is an Arctic Cat. And I have not had any problems with the dealer. I would hope you have all this in writing. And as others have said I would demand your money back. And if they will not, I would talk to a lawyer. It would be worth the small fee. I had problem years ago," won't go into details " but one phone call from my lawyer and it was taken care of. Please keep us posted.
I looked at a lot of ATV's before I decided on a CAT. I think there all pretty good.
I wish you luck.
