Default '05 A/C 500 need help

I have an A/C 500 4x4 auto. 1300 miles. I have recently had a complete service done. I have one question. My machine boggs down immensley in mud. It doesn't matter if it it thick clay or just a hole of colored water. There is plenty of power to keep the tires going but it seems to lack the power to spin them to keep them cleaned out. A freind of mine told me to run 93 octane fuel in it and that would give it alot more power. Is that true? Any input and/or tips would be greatly appreciated.

No thats not true. Also, are running the mud in high or low? If its thick, high gear can be hard on the machine. I would always run low when you know its going to be a task for the machine. In low, the 500 should be doing fine for itself. If not, i would check some basics, like air filter, plug and wires, ect....

v2 is right ( )

Octane won't help you one bit. Sounds like you have other issues. I don't know what a "complete service" is, but I would still check the plug, wires, air filter. ALso it might not hurt to run some Sea Foam through your tank.

Boy, that is a complete service. Sea Foam is a fuel system cleaner, and a fuel stabilizer. It is also safe for two-strokes even. I use it in all my engines, from the chainsaw to snowmobiles to lawnmower to my cars. It cost anywhere from $5.00 to $9.00 depending on where you get it. Give it a shot anyways. Also, I would add an inline fuel filter. They are only like $3.00 and well worth it. Has it been doing this long?

Ever since I got it. I didnt test drive it before I bought it so I figured that it was just the Suzuki motor. It doesn't seem to be as bad since the valve adjustment but it is still noticeable. I"ll try the sea foam and see what it does. I'm going on a 40mile dice run on the 16th and we'll see what she does.

Maybe you just have some carbon and crap in there. Put the Sea Foam in and run it hard on your trip. Let us know how she does.

I just wanted to hit on the low range thing again. Definitely use low range in the mud, takes a lot of snort to keep the tires spinning in the water.

catterman is right about the sea foam cleaning fuel system's and combustion chamber, i've seen what this stuff can do firsthand on everything from lawn mower's,atv's, boat motor's and automobile's. This is some of the best stuff i've ever used, my brother even used it to clean the vacume intake on his 2002 ranger pickup ! Ford told him the oxiginen sensor needed replaced on his pickup, he put sea foam in his gas tank, poured it in throddle body and intake vacume; and this stuff made his truck run as good as new ! Help's with better power and better mpg, this is the best stuff i've ever seen !
