Any known problems? How fast? Enough power?

 

no problems that ive ever heard of. goes 60+. more than enough power. the 400 will power a blade and plow and 10" of snow. the 500 is a great choice. and youre lucky enough to get the new body styling too. it would be a great choice for anything. its an all around great atv. got any questions pm me.

 

I test drove a polaris 700 and it was ok with power and I know the ac 500 has less power than the 700 polaris. maybe i can test drive it an see.

 

Yeh, I would certainly hope that a 700 Polaris has more power. If you are comparing quads, I highly suggest comparing apples to apples. Compare the 700 Polaris to either the 650 H1 or the 700EFI, not the one giving up 200cc.

I think 60+ might be a tad generous for the 500's top speed. 60 maybe(more like 55), but not +.

 

I rode it. It was nice with only 98 miles onit but not enough nuts for me so I think I'm, going with the polaris. However I do like it though. Awesome clearance and I like the storage up front for phone,keys etc. If he would have let it go for 4500 I would have. 5,000 was his lowest and I can get a 500 H.O Polaris brand new 06 for 5,400.

Mine shows 55 on the speedo with 27inch Bugs. It has plenty of power, the polaris may be faster but it is no Cat.
