Default HMF pipe???

There seems to be an alful lot of these HMF pipes for various machines, including a few for my H1, on Ebay lately. My question is does anyone have one, are they any good, is $228 a fair price and how loud are they?

Default HMF pipe???

my buddy has one with snorkle, jet kit and the spark cone removied with 29.5 laws. b4 the aformentioned upgrades the bike was a dog with those laws on it, with the upgrades it was a stock axle snapping freak. everytime we rode the axles broke with in 5 min of moderate riding. now the gorilla axles its a unstopable monster.

the pipe is very loud with the cone removed and it is hard for me to ride behind him for very long, its kind of ear piercing. sounds like a mack truck in the woods.

How loud was it before that cone was removed, and is that even legal?

Default HMF pipe???

I know the speedwerx pipe is right at 96 dec, which is legal in Minnesota. I was told that the HMF is at 97 with the quiet core. Listening to them side by side he HMF is louder anyway. Check your local laws to make sure you know the legal limit. GOod luck.
