I ride mine like I stole it, and haven't had any problems. Jumping, pulling trailers, wheelies, ect. it does it all.

i wana know how you get your 500 to do wheelies??
mine is a LONG way form doing a wheelie. even if i stand on the back rack and punch it and pull it won't pull the front end up.
what elavation are you at?
thanks again.

Doing all of the obove, and not pulling a wheelie would lead me to believe there is something wrong with your quad. I have to believe the 500 has enough power to pull an assisted wheelie

I am not sure of my elevation, but it is not very high. All I have to do is give a tug on the bars and punch it, and the front comes up. If I would stand on the back rack, the thing would probably damn near go over on me, since I am not a very experienced rider yet.

There must be something wrong with your 500. Mine 3 legs all the time while turning and getting on the throttle a little.

That would be my quess too. I am an automotive tech for a living, and I know cars and trucks were set up for different elevations many years ago. I am not sure how ATV's are set up from the factory, but maybe a dealer would have a better idea on it.

My quad has altitude sickness.
i went to Sedona today (not that most of you know AZ very well) where it is 4000 ft. and in low my quad will pull the tires off the ground. i have to put it in low and kinda power brake it and it will do it. not in hi though. oh well. i think it's just the 7000 ft and lack of 02 that is keeping me from wheelies here in flag..
oh yeah..
IT"S SNOWING!!!!!!!
gotta love that.
except my plow is still on the rancher. :-( soon to be on the AC though.
need to buy a new winch and plow. all Warn. thinking i'll get the 54 inch. (48in. on the rancher) and the 3.0ci (same as the rancher)

How much snow HR? Friends were saying they were having a tough time coming from Flag yesterday. I've got to say that we havn't had the power/ altitude issue on our 500's and we took them over 7k last weekend.
