Has anyone upgraded to iridium plugs instead of traditional plugs?

v2rider should be rolling around here shortly to let you know how he likes his plugs.

I just switched to Iridium Plugs, along with NKG Racing Wires and a K&N Air Filter. What a differance!

The K&N made a difference and the racing wires maybe, but not likely. But for sure those expensive plugs did nothing for the engine.

Bear I've got a k&n air filter and can't tell a bit of difference except $50 out of my pocket.

Just seems to have more power. Yes, (Bear) it's most likely the K&N that had the biggest effect, but I did all three at once and notice quite a difference. I didn't tell my son I had done anything to it and he took it for a ride and came back and asked if I had done something. I asked him why. He said, "It seems a lot faster".

I felt an easier starting with the plugs, and a few more miles to a gas tank

Hey V2RIDER, I am going to get the Delta Steel Wheels with the Swamplite's per all of your recommendation's, do you think I should go with the 25x8x12 on front and 25x10x12 on rear or should I go with 26x10x12 and 26x12x12. My ride is a 500 le sportsman with 26x8x11x12 frt and26x11x12 pxt's. Do you know if I will need wheel spacers if I go to 10" wide on frt. The PXT's have about 8 plug's in the sidewals and I am not pleased. We mainly ride trails in WV. I like the 25" just for the fact that it may help the low end on the big beast. Thanks for all of your input. Sorry for the long thread.

You would be fine with the 26" tires, and you will like them! Did you get silver, black, or chromed rims?
