Default Is 250 too small?

I went ahead and bought the 250. So far so good. If you want something that does 0-60 in a few seconds, the 250 is not the thing to get. But I have been on 30 miles of trails and hills so far and it has been great. It is small enough to get in between a lot of trees that a larger one would not make it through. It is strong enough to take me up some hills that are as big as I would ever want to climb. It fits in the back of my truck perfect. Easy to load and unload. I have found that most places I am going, I am driving about 15-20 mph, so speed is not a issue. Me and my two daughters (7 & 10) fit and ride on it comfortably (driving very safely). So for the price of $3450.00 it seems to be a great deal for me. So if you are about 5'7" and 180lbs the 250 should be a great option for you.

Check out this link - do a cut and paste for the link

http://www.powersportsmax.com/produc...roducts_id/565

400cc engine
automatic
4x4
shaft drive

$3300

Not to steer you away from AC - I have an AC and love it. But this seems a good bang for your bucks.
Depending where you live it may cost 2-300 to ship it to you and it will be in a crate and you have to put the wheels on etc.

A 250 will never run out of power as long as it is in the correct gear for the situation it is in. We have a 1985 185 Suzuki 4 wheeler in our fishing group and when it is loaded down on both racks it still will chug up any hill that traction allows. Have with the new toy.

Congratulations! I think you made a great move, you get a nice, cheaper, low maintenance ATV that will last you years. And like you said before, you can hand it down to your kids when it comes time for a bigger machine. Smart move I say. I now drive a 200, compared to my 2005 650 it is underpowered and I am missing the 4x4, but I can still go most places.

LOL, we have a 200 TRX in our fishing group also. It sure looks different without the racks and back lid. The thing can do a u turn on a trail while we have to do a 3 or 4 point turn. We load the He!! out of that one too.

Here is a pic of what we put the 200 through ,its the front red bike. 200cc 2wd
