any one have any problems with the locking diff on there cats mine stopped working? tried ajusting the cable but with no luck. thanks for any info

 

Check the fuse box for a fuse, im not sure if there is one, but you can check.

 

yeah mine did the same thing, what did you adjust on yours? with mine where the lever is i unscrewed the cable housing a little and it worked fine after that. just grab where the rubber boot covers the cable doing into the lever and unscrew it some. shoudl work after that. if not.???? take it in. they shoudl fix it for free.

there is a fuse you can check and spares are already in ther box for you if you need one. probably just need to adjust the cable.

 

I was under the impression that the front locker was all mechanical and has no electric components at all. The front drive in and out is electrically activated, but not the locker.

 

the front locker on a 06 400 is mechanical

 

just got back from the dealer the locker is mechanical its a gear in the diff that slides when the lever is flipped locking the front wheels still dont know what broke inside i'll have to wait till the fixes it thanks for the help

 

all it was the axle came out of the front diff on the left side alil bit just enought that the locker gear wouldn't make contact with the axle i pushed the axle in and its back like new
