DYNATEK CDI REJET ??
#1
Hey all.
I just ordered a new Dynatek CDI off ATVgalaxy (on ebay). I got it for 178 shipped. Im really looking forward to the performance gains I hear everyone talk about. But my question is will i have to rejet???? I know ill have to run it and see how it runs and check the color of the plugs but what have you guys had to do on a stock machine with just the computer upgrade.

Thank you for the replies guys. That eases my mind alot because i have other upgrades i want such as a k and n filter, exhaust and maybe cams but i still have an extended warranty and i dont want to rejet or add any of those things till it runs out. with the dyna i can just swap if it has to go in for service.
Thanks guys!!!

Talk to the service manager at your local dealership, some are pretty flexible when it comes to providing warranty on a machine with a few mods. You may not need to wait to add your goodies =D
With my mods listed below, my dealership is still pretty good. I'm not sure if they would warranty something that was obviously caused by a mod I did, but I've had no problems so far, and I recently had all my timing chains replaced under warranty.
By the way, don't forget the get new clutch springs. I did mine after everything else and I wish I would have done them first. Big difference. For mostly trail riding with stock tires I HIGHLY recommend the EPI pink/black combo that I have.

chumly is 100 percent right about everything. i brought my atv a few years ago in for warranty work with 27 inch tires on it for a busted rear end housing that was caused by the bigger tires. 100 percent covered.

Yes I definetly need to do more homework on that situation. I asked service last fall about a moose module and they just said if anything went wrong they may be able to trace if back to the module and not cover it. I have a long warranty 5 years and i really dont want to void it this soon, but the dyna i can remove and swap. The thing that scares me is even if they say oh yea no problem add on all you want and then something goes then theyll change there mind and they will have the fine print on there side.

That sucks that you either don't or can't trust your dealer. I'm a little spoiled I guess. I know the service manager at one shop personally, plus I live 15 miles from Arctic Cat's 'dealer of the year' like three years running. I've got AC service like you wouldn't believe.
Yesterday I bought a new HJC CL-X4 moto style helmet($144 retail), some Spy goggles($50 ret.) , a quick latch($16), and some AC leather racing gloves($50 ret.), all for $155.
