Which quad would be better for trail riding, light mudding (nothing above floorboards), and snow plowing: '06 AC 400 Auto 4x4 with 250 miles or a 2005 Suzuki Eiger Auto 400 4x4 with 80 miles on it? Both quads are stock.

Thanks for your input!

Well they both have the Suzuki 400 engine, so power shoud be about the same, i would go with the AC for the IRS. having 4 wheel indapendant suspention is a major plus on an ATV. and i think not sure but the AC should have a front locker also. go with the AC you'll love it.

HR.

I think either machine will suit your needs just fine. I doubt you would have regrets either way.

The IRS will ride nicer in the trails and will handle a bit more mud. The suzuki will handle better, but you will sacrifice a bit of comfort. What's the price difference? What about the dealer? In your case I would put plenty of weight on your dealer support.

Both are good machines, the Eiger will give you a tad better handling and sport ride, the AC will give you more suspension travel and more articulation. If down the road you feel you may get into some rough stuff then the AC has the edge, even at floorboard level mud you would still have a ground-clearance advantage with the AC.

I believe the AC has the weight advantage for snow plowing also.
