first 30 mile ride blew fan fuse and overheated at 30 miles,replaced fuse,fine
till next trip,again blew fuse,was advised by dealer to install larger fuse
has been fine for 275 miles. is now at dealer for fan replacement and diode
replacement?

 

I have heard that if you get the fan wet alot and if comes on while in the water there is a really good chance you will blow the fuse. I have also heard of folks replacing the stock fuse with a mini-circuit breaker. Check out arcticchat.com
