I have recently accuired a '98 cat 300 4x4. its in excellant shape for its age. it has high, mid and low range, speedo and a winch that works great. I need to sell it and was wondering how much it would go for.

 

I guess it depends on your area, I would say between $1,500 - $2,250. Those 300's are great.

 

that's what I was guessing. I just posted it up on craigslist for $2000. it is a good wheeler. I learned to ride on my dads 98 400 cat and it never gave us any trouble at all. I just feel that this 300 is underpowered. of course my regular ride is my sportsman 700. the 300 great for a starter 4 wheel drive. I'd hate to get rid of it but I just don't have the room for it and it'll hardly ever get ridden.

thanks. just had a guy come look at. gotta love craigslist. said he would think about it and get back to me. told him $1800 was the lowest I'd go. yeah, its definitely slow compared to my 700. lol.
