New Arctic Cat 700 TRV
#11
Hi,
I have purchased 2008 Arctic Cat 700 EFI TRV Plus LE in Canada on October 23,2007.
I would like to have some feed-back fron users about oil comsumption.
After 190 km or 10 hours using (160 miles) I has yesterday 1 liter of Engine Oil ...!
Before starting discussion with the dealer I hope somebody giving me their own experience.
Thanks

Hey Uncle,
I am thinking about buying the same machine you have. I have a 2004 650 V-Twin right now and it is a little tight riding doubles even know I am not suppose to have a passenger on it. I have a couple of questions for you. I was wondering what you paid for it , how you like it so far and if it came with a 12 volt plug? I have the 12 volt plug on my 650 and it is handy to have.
Thanks,

Paid about $8,400.00 before taxes for the 700 TRV LE Plus. Yes, it does have a 12 volt plug. Yes, I really like it. The extra 8" frame is great for going up hills. Feels a lot more stable than a regular length atv. Best thing that I did was swap out the stock tires for some Bighorns, stayed at the same size of 25". Have not had many passengers on it, but everyone says that it rides better with 2.

Brought the hard case from my Dealer, it is from Kimplex. The case is made for 2ups, in the case of the 700 AC also had to get a small rack that bolts on to the seat. Case then bolts on to this rack. The whole section then comes off when you pull the 2 pins to remove the seat, and box. It has worked very well for me. I can fit all my stuff in plus some extra room. I have also added the fender extenders as this keeps a lot of mud off the back passenger feet.
Good luck with your purchase.
