Default Questions on 700 LE

Well, the wifey and I went to our Polaris/Cat dealer yesterday. I had my heart set on a Polaris 500 EFI, but what's this orange sunset beauty in the back....An AC 700 LE.

So the wife likes it and I love it. It is huge! Made the 500 look like a small midsize. So anyhow...

We start to work on the price and the dealer hits me with over 10K, he gets mad when I offered him 5500 for it and tries to give me a lecture about spending more now or more later. That is doesn't matter how much you save up front when you spend a bunch on it later. Anyhow, after this little outburst I thanked him and left. I sent him a polite e-mail today saying that both our figures were unrealistic.

My question is, what is a realistic price for this machine? Also, what are everyone's opinions on it. I've searched, but haven't turned up a whole lot on this particular machine.

Thanks

MSRP on those is $8499.00. Your dealer is so full of it, his eyes are brown. I checked www.atvtraderonline.com just now and found 2; one in Oregon and one in Michigan. There are probably others, I didn't look more than 25 seconds.

At this time of year you should get $1000.00 off MSRP easy. Ask for the dealers 'out the door price'. Have them email it to you. Take it with you. Some dealers low ball the price then stick you with add on fees. Keep in mind you will probably have to show up at the dealer to sign the paperwork.

To find dealers, go to arcticcat.com. Haulbikes.com, www.haulbikes.com will pick up and deliver to your house.

Good Luck.

I'm sorry, I didn't answer your question about the machine. It uses the Suzuki 700 King Quad engine with the Arctic Cat transmission, frame, and suspension. The paper engine air filter that Suzuki uses on the King Quad has caused some engine failures, but the Arctic Cat airbox and filter has been trouble free.

Most KQ and AC owners usually switch air to a TwinAir, Uni, or K&N air filter anyway, because they withstand getting wet. When a paper filter gets wet, it's worthless. With the others, you can clean and reuse them. Mud riders usually carry a spare.

Nope. That was good ole US prices. I guess he thought he saw a sucker. Yeah right. I may have been born at night, but it sure as hell wasn't last night.

I told him 8K OTD with a 3 yr warranty. We'll see what he says. I might go shop elsewhere out of principle. He gave me BS about the last day of the month and his manager wanted to do "crazy" deals. If crazy is full MSRP plus all the freight, set up, etc; well then, he is crazy.

Anyhow. It is a very nice machine. I'll keep every one updated on what happens.

Default Questions on 700 LE

i called around to get a price here( missouri) to find myself one. most prices started at 7600.00 but found 2 dealers selling for 7200.00. One was the Bass Pro Shop here. these prices are for the 2007 700 efi. not the le version which i think normally runs about $600-800 more. I like the le version but ive got a set of rims and tires waiting to be put on a new camo 700efi, or maybe a thundercat!!!

If you go to a few dealers now, you may be able to find a few 07 that the dealer is trying to get rid of before to many 08 arrive. With a bit of heckling you my be able to get him pretty low on the price.
