2007 AC 400 4x4 LE mods?
Hi Everybody,
I am new to this forum. I've been reading alot of great info. Thanks!
I seem to be having trouble finding aftermarket performance mods compatible with my 2007 400 4x4 LE.
I went to a couple of local shops, and scour the magazines, catalogs, and internet. Not too much out there.
I am looking to increase throttle response a bit. I love my machine. I just want to tweak it and make it "mine."
I was told that a new clutch kit, exhaust, and ignition module would be a great place to start and could add about 10% more horsepower to the rear wheels. Is that true?
If so...can anyone point me in the right direction for some parts?
thanks everybody, Have a great Thanksgiving. Be Safe

I dont know about the 10%,that sounds a bit high actually, but Hotseatperformance.com has a kit for $429 that has the air filter(which has issues) a clutch kit, and a new muffler that helps some. It makes a difference to me that I would describe as going on an incline and not gaining speed stock to being able to still accelerate with the kit. Its definetly not a major improvement, but it helps. They dont have a module for the 400s. If you find a place that has a module, please let me know by PM. Welcome!!!Frank.

Thanks Dan, another company called fourstroketech has a motor kit. Thats going into the motor with a larger cc, I think 440. I think I would only consider that if I need a rebuild. I never talked to them, so I dont know what all they offer. The guys at hotseat/speedwerks are good people. I had a lot of conversation with them. I got the wrong clutch kit and they made all good. They have various versions of the clutch kit depending on what you are after. I chose the high altitude setup for larger tires. I wanted mine to accelerate as quick as it could.
