i was thinking about buying the cat 300 4x4 does anyone know the top speed i know its not made for top speed but dont want everyone haveing to wait for me on the trails either

 

I Have a 98 300 and it goes about 40. 4 th gear is the fastest gear because it lets engine develope more RPM.

 

I have a AC 300 4x4 and its just a bit over 40 mph. LOTS of pull though. And I love the ride!

My 300 does just over 40mph, but with it's superier suspension, you have to wait for others on the trail. On the roads it's taller gears also let you cruise just as fast. If you cruise faster consistantly on a 500 that telltale blue smoke will start coming out of your exhaust, I've seen it!!!

 

I have a 99' 300 4x4 and like everyone else has said it will do just over 43mph . If you really push it to the max it will do 45mph but thats really pushing it.
