Default snorkel problems

i just had my atv snorkeld but i dont think they did a good job i tried to test it out the other day and it cut off in the water so i opened the air box there was about a half of a cup of water in it i checked my oil it was a real tan color so i changed the oil a couple times to get all bad oil out of there but we had to pump water from the carp to get it back running it cuts back a little i think i have water in my gas or some trash
anyway the clamp where the pvc goes in to the breather hose was lose could that be the reason wy the water got up in there or do i need to seal my air box

Not good. Who did the Snorkel? You need to drain the oil and fill it , run it a few minutes, and keep doing it until the oil is clean. You could have got water in from a loose hose clamp, but it seems like you had water dump in from somewhere. How deep were you?
